The Real Da Vinci Code: Vitruvian Man Helps Us Experience We Are Cosmic Beings

The Real Da Vinci Code, Leonardo's Vitruvian Man is Cosmic Man created in the Image of God.

The Vitruvian Man in a circle is Cosmic Man at the center of the universe at the beginning of space and time. This is the experience of enlightenment shared by saints and seers throughout the ages. It is man created in the Image of God. This image is similar to what scientists refer to as "superspace" (from John Wheeler). This is the transcendent, unbounded nature of space prior to the inflation of the universe.

Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man (the Da Vinci Man with four arms and four legs in a square and circle) is the most popular secular symbol in the world. My ten years of research suggests that the Vitruvian Man is a universal symbol for greater love, relationships, success, health and the new age 21st century paradigm of indivisible wholeness, the paradigm for world peace. A New Renaissance!

Leonardo said it best: "The outstretched arms and legs of a man form a square and a circle: the square symbolizes the solid physical world and the circle the spiritual and eternal. Man bridges the gap between these two worlds."
-Leonardo Da Vinci, "The Magical Proportions of Man"

Scientists believe that time and space begin at a level that is four quadrillion times smaller than the nucleus of the atom (the Planck scale). At this level the concept of space is meaningless, because there is no space to divide up anymore. What is left is a vacuum, a state of pure potentiality, referred to by scientists as the field of all possibilities. This is the state of our beingness in pure consciousness.

The Da Vinci form surrounded by a circle represents the transcendent point at the beginning of time and space. Here we are connected to all creation. This is represented by the Da Vinci Man with four arms and four legs, seeming to connect to all parts of the circle. Scientists refer to this level as "superspace."

This space is also called the zero point, still point and space-time-field-foam. However, this space is full of potential and contains all space within it (that is why it is super). Since superspace lies at the beginning of time and space, theoretically, the entire universe can fit inside this space, and we would not even know it!

Believe it or not, scientists believe that all creation arises from this space (inflation theory), which is a primordial singularity. At the beginning of time, within one second, this super point begins to expand to the size of the universe as we know it. Recent astronomical observations lend even more credibility to inflation theory.

At the level of this "super point" there is no sense of duality. There is one indivisible wholeness. All five forces of nature--electricity, magnetism, strong force, weak force and gravity--are united here.

Is it theoretically possible to connect with this space and experience the unity of creation from here? The circled Da Vinci man actually represents living inside this "superspace," smaller than small. The four arms and legs of the Da Vinci Man, connecting to the circle, represent our connection from this space to all of creation. This is cosmic man created in the Image of God.

Many theorists believe that nature connects to all of creation with this space and refer to it as the very consciousness of creation itself. It is the pure vacuum state of beingness that many scientists believe all creation arises from. Some even believe that we never even leave this state.

David Bohm referred to this space as the "superhologram" from which everything manifests. The world we live in is actually a reflection of this hologram. Our real or "implicate" existence actually lies at the very heart of this superhologram, and everything else is a fairytale or make believe (the "explicate universe"). "Life is but a dream," but we can be awake from within this dream by allowing ourselves to experience the ground state of our existence within superspace.

Saints have been experiencing this Transcendent Point from time immemorial. Here we experience that we are nothing, hollow and empty like the beginning of space itself. Yet, since this level is connected to all creation, it feels as though we are larger than the largest, connected to all creation.

The Da Vinci Man inside a circle gives the impression of being smaller than the smallest. The Da Vinci Man filling up the circle (with four arms and four legs) gives the impression of being larger than the largest, connected to the entire world and universe. This is the experience of indivisible wholeness.

This is the experience of living inside the superspace. It is referred to as the bindu akshara in the Vedas, the keter point in Jewish Mysticism or Kabbalah, and Cosmic Orb in Christianity. It is the mustard seed that can move mountains.

Deep within each person, at the beginning of time and space (smaller than the smallest), dwells the Cosmic Person Within. This is our true self, created in the Image of God. From here we are connected to the entire world and universe. Scientists refer to this level as the planck scale.

The planck scale is four quadrillion times smaller than the nucleus of the atom. This is the zero point or space-time-field-foam. From here we are one with the universe. Scientists actually believe that the whole universe once existed at this level and arose from here (inflation theory).

This is "superspace." Since it is at the beginning of space, we can experience the entire universe within this point and our unity with it. Since it is at the beginning of time, the experience is that of eternity, and we can experience our connection with the entire universe arising from here, like a Da Vinci Man, in this very moment!

The body is a temple for the altar of the Divine that dwells within. From this level we can experience freedom from worldly concerns and unity with all creation. Even in the midst of dynamic activity, a small part of ourselves can be free and whole (and we might hardly be aware of it).

When we allow ourselves, even in a small way, to connect with this source (our center and real home), we experience the most profound inner peace, a peace that surpasseth understanding. This leads to peace on earth and good will towards all.

We always experience this level but block it because of the current limiting paradigm we live in. The Da Vinci Man Code can help change the paradigm to one of indivisible wholeness as suggested by David Bohm, Grandfather of Bell?s Theorem.

The experience of indivisible wholeness is essential to the experience of renaissance, meaning rebirth. Rebirth happens when we awaken from the illusion of separation (atomism, the fading scientific paradigm) to the experience of indivisible wholeness (holism, the dawning scientific paradigm).

The two cojoined forms of the Da Vinci Man represent the unity of art and spirituality (Da Vinci Man with arms uplifted) with science and materiality (Da Vinci Man with arms outstretched). Leonardo Da Vinci was a premier example of a person who embodies indivisible wholeness, as represented by the Da Vinci Man. He was the most gifted artist and scientist of the Renaissance.

Modern science began with Leonardo Da Vinci, and the Da Vinci Man is a likely candidate to be a symbol for the 21st century paradigm of indivisible wholeness.
